The Emancipation Proclamation was a warning to tell the states that did leave to come back to the union or they will free all their slaves. It was also 2 more things. For the eurpeons to join the army and to have the blacks to be apart of the union army.

The anaconda plan was to squezze its prey. Also the anaconda was a snke that squezzes you to deth.
The advantages of the north was that they had more resources, bigger population, factories to make weapons,and many railroads.
The advantages of the south was that they had well trained officers, believed they fought more fiercly to protect their homes and their way of life, and people who knew how to use a gun.
Franki, I don't think we have to do the science. Mr.Lee I have a question, In class, can you go over the part the women had and the significance?

The Emancipatation Proclamation was a law made by Lincoln that said that all slaves in the conferate states will be freed. Also, the note showed the other countries that america wants to end slavery,so the other counries won't help the confederate states attack the union.

1. The war begun at Fort Sumter because the fort was in the south and the south was going to leave the country (sesceed), so the north went inside the fort and brought enough food for 6 weeks. At 4:30 AM,which was when they wouldn't expect it, was when the south shot the first bullet in the civil war.

Andcano plan was to in a way trap south. There was three parts. Part one was to block southern seaports so it was hard to get the supplies it needs. Part two was to control the Mississippi river. The south would have to split into to parts. Part three was the union troops would invade south from both east and west. Go northhhhhhhh. We won!!!!!!!!!!!!

The difference between the strutual adaptation is about physcical features and the behaverial adaptation is behaving.

The Battle at Fort Sumter at 4:30 in the morning when the South fired at the North. It started the civil war. The North believed that the Fort belonged to the government. The South thought it belonged to them because it was in the South.
The Anaconda Plan was when Scott hoped that like a anaconda snake squeezes its prey, that the plan would squeeze the Confederacy. First, Northern ships would blockade southern seaports. Without trade the South would not be unable to buy the weapons and supplies they needed. Second, the North would take control of the MississippiRiver. This would cause the South to be split into 2 parts. Also, the south would not be able to use the river to move supplies. Finally, Union troops would invade from both East and West.
Advantages of the north were that they had a larger population, more factories for recsources. They could also build and supply a larger army even though the south had more farming land. They
had more food to supply a larger army because even the south grew stuff that money like cotton. All the other fruits and vegetables would go to the north because the south did not have use for them. they thougt they would win because they had more land, people, railroads, money in banks, and factories.
The south thought they would win because the people that lived there grew up riding horses and using gus to hunt. Also they thought they would win because of their beliefs. the south had something to fight for. if they lost they would now have to come back to the union.Now they could not make alot of money because they did not have their slaves anymore
The war began by north going in the fort which south thought was there's. South began firing at north and that's how the war began. Luckily no one died.
The role women had in the civil war was getting food and being there for the soilders in pain

Fort Sumter was a fort that the south thought was theirs, since it was in the since. The north wanted all the forts to be part of the federal government.The union only had a 6 weeks food supply left, so Abraham Lincoln ordered more food to come to the fort. The confederates thought it was a threat, so they fired at 4:30 in the morning.This was the start of the civil war.

The war impacted americans on both sides because many americans were killed. Also because some soldiers in the north and south were killijng their relatives which was why some did not want a fight. Lastly, it effected americans because if this war kept goig on it will not leave a good result in the country in the future
The role of women during the civil war was to nurse and treat other patients so they can survive.Also because they gave patients water and food

This law made former african american slaves despret to join the Union Army sice they were free. The slaves were happy about this.

This helped the Union Army because now they got a lot of imported stuff that they neeeded to be able to fight in the Civil War. the advantages of the south were that they had well trained officers, experience of using guns and to ride horses. Lastly, the south had something to fight for.
Mainly woman were nurses and woman also played a big because if they didn't help wounded solders a lot of men would have died.They also had to do the mens jobs while all the men were fighting
